Christmas for a family in need
Every year a student in are program, Rachel, chooses a family that is in need to collect and wrap presents for during Christmas. We help her wrap, label and sort all of the gifts once they are collected. But one year was very unique the kids needed weighted blankets, something that was expensive and hard to get someone to donate. Rachel and I got the chance to make theses kids weighted blankets, it took a very long time to sew each of the columns and add the equal amount of rice each needed. But in the end it was worth it to see how it could change theses kids lives.

FBLA: Future Business leaders of america
One of the greatest experiences I got to be a part in during my junior year was FBLA. FBLA is a group or club in the school that helps you to prepare for the future of business by competing in events. Myself and 2 of my friends worked together in graphic design to create a school and what we wanted that school to look like. We competed at districts and made it in the top 5 and got the opportunity to compete at State where we placed in the top 10 out of 30 teams competing from different schools all over Colorado.
